„Together we can work for the development of the African continent and we can ensure that fewer people have to live in poverty“ Germany’s Chancellor Angela Merkel told reporters prior to her takeoff for the continent. The Chancellor’s journey will take her on a five-day trip to Ethiopia, South Africa and Liberia to meet with some of the continent’s political and social leaders.
